City of Mississauga Food Services Introduction

Our Food Services team works across the City of Mississauga offering a wide range of services from concessions to full-service event detailing and delivery. We are excited to bring our expertise to the Mississauga Sports and Entertainment Centre (MSEC). The team consists of hospitality professionals who have worked across Canada, Europe, Caribbean and Asia. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail, exceptional level of service and quality food and presentation.

Our kitchen team is lead by our Executive Chef, Nico. Nico has over 30 years experience in the culinary industry. Nico apprenticed in Germany and worked at several high-end hotels, in Europe and the Caribbean, eventually settling in Toronto at the Four Seasons Hotel. Nico’s cooking style focuses on simplicity using the best possible ingredients. Food is his passion.

At MSEC, Nico is supported by Sous Chef, Alan. Alan has worked at a variety of restaurants and event spaces, most recently at Woodbine Mohawk Park in Campbellville.

Our Front of House Food Service team is led by Marcus, Supervisor, Food Services. Originally trained as an accountant with Ernst & Young and holding a Project Management Professional designation, Marcus found his true passion working with hospitality clients and hasn’t looked back since. Now bringing that same dedication and drive to the City of Mississauga, Marcus is excited to lead the team in delivering an elevated food service experience at MSEC.

Rounding out the service team is Harmeet. Harmeet is a hospitality professional who obtained his Bachelor of Business (International Hotel Management) from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts Institute, Sydney. Harmeet has exacting standards, high attention to detail and a very calm demeanor. He is very excited to work with clients to make their time at MSEC an event to remember.  From in suite food and beverage, to full-service catering events, Harmeet will work with you to make your vision a reality.

Concession Stands

Concession stands are in the Community Rinks, Main and Sportsplex at Mississauga Sports and Entertainment Centre. Operating hours will be subject to the daily facility activities and offer a convenient service of grab and go, snacks, hot food, and beverages. We accept credit card payments (Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX). Cash Payments are not accepted.

Catering

The City of Mississauga is the exclusive supplier of food and beverages at the Mississauga Sports and Entertainment Centre. We are available to provide catering options to enhance your event/activity or room booking within MSEC. Contact our team to learn more about catering options.

Special Dietary Requests

We offer a wide variety of foods, however should you have specific dietary requirements, please alert the attendant/staff. Please be aware that MSEC does not have an allergen free kitchen.

Alcohol Service

The safety and enjoyment of our guests is always our priority. Our venues are licensed through the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). Outside alcohol is NOT permitted on the premises. Alcoholic beverages may only be consumed in areas where the facility is licensed and designated for consumption. Unauthorized alcohol on the premises will be confiscate and may result in the early conclusion of an event or closure of concessions/kiosks and bars.

We reserve the right to cease service of alcoholic beverages if underage people attempt to obtain alcohol or are provided alcohol by guests of legal drinking age. Shots and doubles are strictly prohibited. The City of Mississauga reserves the right to deny access to the event space and refuse service of alcoholic beverages to guests who appear to be intoxicated.

All Front-of-House Food Services staff are Smart Served Certified and will provide service as outlined by the AGCO as well as the policies and procedures of the City of Mississauga.

Alcohol is not permitted to leave the suite except by the Suite Attendant.

Last call will be made based on the event type or game day.

Attending an event in a private Suite?

Your organization or group can lease private suites for multi-year terms to guarantee access to all our events for the best possible experience at the Mississauga Sports and Entertainment Centre. Suite rentals are available for all events, including Raptors 905 games, subject to availability. Find more information about suites here.

Food and Beverage Suites Menu and Order Process

View the Mississauga Sports and Entertainment Centre Suites Menu. All menu items are served to accomodated five (5) guests.
Mississauga Sports and Entertainment Centre offers an easy way to place your order in advance of your event date. Simply complete the Suite Menu Order Form online.

Once received, a member of our Food Services Team will be in touch with you to review and finalize details. To ensure the highest level of presentation, service and quality, we ask that all food and beverage selections be placed by 12:00 p.m., three business days (72 hours) prior to the event day. Our event coordinator will work with you to ensure you are ordering enough food for your group size and duration of event. Non-alcoholic beverages can be pre-ordered or ordered directly with your Suite Attendant on event day. Alcohol will not be placed in the suite until guests arrive.

To simplify the ordering process, and to ensure orders arrive in a timely fashion, we encourage all suite guests to pre-order, with the preferred service time included. A limited menu will be available to order in the suite on event day.

The City of Mississauga Food Services Team is the exclusive supplier of food and beverages at the Mississauga Sports and Entertainment Centre. Outside food and beverages are not permitted.
Your food and beverage selections will be delivered to your suite as per the agreed upon time reflected on your order form and up to a maximum of 2 hours. Alcohol will not be provided until guests are in the suite. Leftover food may not leave the premises.
We accept credit card payments (Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX). Cash Payments are not accepted. Credit card information will be obtained by the event coordinator to process payment of finalized orders. Payment for event day items can be made directly with the Suite Attendant once service is complete. A final bill will be presented at the close of the event.

All food and beverages items are subject to 15% Gratuity and 13% HST.
